What £225 includes
- Camera survey of every accessible drain run on the property
- Written report coded to MSCC5, with each defect graded for severity
- Every defect located by distance from a fixed access point, and marked on the ground
- The full narrated HD video, sent to your phone the same day
- A plain statement of where your private drain ends and United Utilities' sewer begins
- An honest view on what — if anything — actually needs doing, and roughly what it should cost
What sits outside a standard survey
These are not hidden extras — they are different jobs. If one applies to your property we say so before we attend, not afterwards.
- A run that is fully blocked — The camera cannot see through silt. If the drain is completely blocked it has to be cleared before it can be surveyed. Tell us when you call and we will arrange it, or you can use anyone you like — we are not trying to sell you the clearance.
- Commercial and multi-property sites — Priced on the number of runs and access points rather than per property. Ring with the details and you get a fixed figure before anyone attends.
- Formal build-over submissions — The survey itself is the standard price. If United Utilities require additional drawings for a build-over agreement we say what that adds before you commit.
If a property turns out to need something outside a standard survey, you hear about it before we start — never as a revised invoice afterwards.
